Ten sweet puppies to cuddle....tens sweet puppies to snuggle...Presley's pups are little sweetums who love to be held. When not snuggling they can be seen chasing tails and chewing on ears...one of their favourite pastimes. Never a dull moment and never a dull puppy!
Wonderful, wonderful...a perfect description of these five week old Diva puppies. They have adapted so well to all the new sights and sounds that are introduced each day. So alert and curious, ready to take on each new day, whether they are in the house or outside in their little yard.
These Presley pups are only one day younger than Diva's so they are moving and a grooving too.
They went outside for a short while to feel the grass under their paws and quite liked the new feeling. They had a lunch picnic outside and then a lovely nap in the shade. Now they are back in the kitchen and snoozing again after their big day.
It's harvest time and the thermometer still hovers close to 30, so these 4 week old puppies will get to play outside for a couple hours today...there first taste of the great outdoors!! It's gonna be a good day!
Presley's puppies are enjoying their "kitchen" home and all the noises and action that goes along with it! For supper tonight they will enjoy their first taste of softened puppy food, topped off with delicious mama milk. These little waddlers are still zigging when they should be zagging, but zig zag they do and they get from point A to Point B in no time at all!! Life is great for these little sweetums.
At three weeks, things really begin to change for these little Diva pups.... softened solid puppy food, fresh drinking water, a puppy poo area, Beach Boy music, (which is a nice change from the Classical that they have been exposed to), time out of the baby pen and more new faces!!
As Presley pups turn two weeks old, they are fast becoming little movers...moving quickly to mama as soon as she makes an appearance!! With their eyes not quite open they are still curious when we visit them and do enjoy cuddles. Won't be long and they will be able to enjoy solid food to ease the milk load on momma.
Two weeks old today and these little chubbins are definitely coming alive! Their eyes are not completely open yet, but its a work in progress...wont be long and they will be on the move. Momma is keeping them well supplied with milk and next week they will start on softened solids. There is pending availability on this litter! Apply now if interested!
Presley's 10 puppies are certainly keeping momma busy! The seven girls and three boys are gaining weight nicely and are even cuter each day, we love their pretty markings. They turned one week old today and by next week their little peepers should start to open so they can actually see their sweet Mama. Lots happening here at Prairie Doodles!
Diva-delicious puppies were born the eve of August 19th. 5 handsome boys and 1 precious princess entered the world healthy and hungry! Today they celebrate their first week here at Koocanusa. Momma Diva is again a great mom and keeping them "fed up" with lots of milk. We look forward to lots of puppy kisses in the near future ......
These little gorgeous red heads are heading off to their forever homes this week! They are all ready and waiting for the big day!
These puppies are days away from meeting their forever families and we know how excited their families are! We wish them the best of luck on their new ventures and we will miss our little Poppy puppies!
Six weeks is such a neat time to observe puppies...they are so perky, playful and full of mischief! They respond so quickly to the whistle and its so cute to see the eight little gaffers running in a little herd to get to the feeding dish!! They are finding that life is okay without mama being there all the time and are nearly weaned. A happy, bouncy little group, enjoying the Koocanusa sunshine.
Rose's puppies are six weeks old and loving the outside! But they can't stay out as much as they would like because of the crazy heat! They are happy pups though and enjoy nice days indoors chasing around Oliver, the toddler socializer of the house. They got a lot of socialization last week and will continue to meet more people as we get ready to test them and allocate them to their very excited and anxious families! Almost weened from mom now, these guys love a fresh bowl of water and some grub! Thanks for stopping by to check them out! s
Congrats to the families of London's litter! They will meet next weekend and head off to their forever homes!
In just one more week, these little puppies will begin testing for their temperaments and will be allocated to their forever families! This is an exciting and nervous time for their families, but oh so fun! They are having a blast and playing lots and getting super socialized! They are all showing some real personality traits now and they are very sweet!
Definitely the WOW factor!! These puppies are certainly Show Stoppers and such cuddle bugs. They do enjoy the outdoors even in this intense heat. Early in the morning they are racing around the yard, but 11 am they decide its time to seek the shade for a snooze. They are becoming quite independent but still love that Mama is just a squeak away.
These gorgeous red puppies met the great outdoors this week and thoroughly enjoyed it in small doses, due to the heat wave, of course. They have a huge mental leap as they learned that there is so much more to life than they ever knew before. They are using their litter box and eating their food more and more now! Soon, they won't need momma Rose any more and she can retire!
Thanks for stopping by to see Poppy's pups meet their five week milestones! They also met the grand outdoors, in very limited doses, due to the heat wave. They didn't know what they thought about grass or a sandbox, but they warmed up to the idea very quickly and took the longest nap when they came back inside! These pups are showing their large mini sizes already! They are still working on learning to eat more and more and use their litter box. They are so sweet already and we can't wait to see how they test out in their temperaments in two weeks.
