Thanks so much for stopping by! These beauties are four weeks old and loving life and their newly found independence at meal time! They still like momma's milk, but have got the hang of eating their watered down kibble. They are still a little confused that the litter isn't their bed, but they are getting it! They've also found a nice loud voice! They are getting lots of time with the socializer of the house now, Mr. Oliver. They will get to meet the great outdoors next week, pending some beautiful weather! 

Cleo's puppies are one week old!

We are still pretty sad at the loss of one of Miss Cleo's puppies this week, but Cleo and the other three girls are doing amazing and thriving. We are keeping a close eye and momma is surely making sure these little pups are content and growing!

They started solid food watered down today and were introduced to the litter box! It'll be a week or so before they really get the hang of eating solids and going to the potty in the litter box, but they will get it!

At 6 weeks these little sweethearts are enjoying life each day as they explore their little world.  In a couple weeks they will experience so many more new sights & sounds as they move in with their new family. We know that they will be ready to bring lots of joy in the years ahead and be such good companions and great additions to any family.

At six weeks old, these puppies are well on their way to soon being ready for their Avidog temperment testing....and then, at eight weeks, they will go home to their new forever family.  They have found that their 28 temporary puppy teeth are great for chewing on our fingers, so we are replacing our fingers with a toy and they will soon get the idea not to chew hands, but rather toys! Lucca is busy handling and playing with each one and finds them to be great playmates.

Frolicking fun loving 5 week old bundles of energy!  Such pudgy little characters that love nothing more than to tease each other and have fun. Each decides that the other is a chew toy, so one or the other is often letting out a little annoyed squeak! Absolutely gorgeous show stoppers even if they are little rascals...

Jersey's Puppies are 5 weeks old!!

1st class all the way!! These 5 week old cutie patooties are quite the snugglers!  We love their wet smooches and their cute little kissable faces!  They are enjoying their romps around the kitchen and chasing each other under the table. They are well on their way to becoming well socialized little characters with stellar personalities!

These 4 week old Diva pups are such Big Loves with a very relaxed easy going demeanor!  Such playful, happy and absolutely gorgeous little chubbins.  Their happiness is contagious and makes us smile each and every day.  They will be such great companions for their new forever families in just 4 weeks!!

These wonderful puppies are halfway thru their exciting adventure here at Koocanusa.  In 4 more weeks they will be meeting their forever families!  Time flys when they are having fun...  They are enjoying all the new sights, sounds and toys that they are exposed to them each day. Each one has its own unique personality and all are adorable with sweet, gentle temperaments just like mama, Jersey.

Diva's Puppies are 3 weeks old!

Wow, these 3 week old pups are making great progress every day.  In the last week they have decided that the puppy litter box is the place to do their do!! They are starting to respond to the whistle at meal time and can be heard barking at each other during playtime. What a tribe of smart little 3 week old puppies!

These little adorables have made the big move into the kitchen!  They have started nibbling on real dog food, but still prefer mama's milk and mama's cuddles.  They aren't quite sure what the puppy litter tray is for, but will get that figured out soon....lots of fun times ahead for everyone! 2 weeks old...and time for Lucca to start socializing these Diva puppies!  They are cute beyond words and now that their eyes are opening they can waddle around quite well.  We hear their little barks every now and then as they become aware of  the different sounds around them. Next week, big changes as they start eating real puppy food! They are definitely on their way to becoming more independent and chubbier!!

Rose's Angel is almost ready to go home! Congrats to her forever family!

Angel is super excited to meet her new family in a couple of weeks! She is seven weeks old and is about to undergo her temperament testing! She will do amazing at it as she has met a lot of puppies and people in the last couple of weeks! She now spends most of her day hanging out with Oliver and Stella! =]

These six little puppies reach the two week mark today! Some have their eyes wide open and others are not quite ready to open their little peepers yet.  They are definitely mobile though, crawling to mama no matter where she lays in their little puppy bed.  Jersey is such a good mama spending her time feeding and cleaning her little family. Diva's puppies turned one week old today!

On January 26th, Diva & Wilbur welcomed their family of five munchkins...four girls and one creamy apricot boy.  These little puppies have turned into little chubbykins, gaining weight nicely from mama's rich milk. They spend their day in our bedroom, eating, sleeping and cuddling with mama. We look forward to next week as their eyes and ears open to the big world around them! Rose's puppy, Angel, is six weeks old now!

Angel is six weeks old and the weather permitted her to explore the grand outdoors this week! She has been active since turning five weeks old and has been socializing with some puppies that are a couple weeks older than her! We had a play date with Angel's brother from another mother, Winston of Tasha and Molesley, and though he was a bit older and bigger, Angel was able to play back a little. She did get chilled on this sunny day, so she borrowed a hoody! =] Her mommy reunited with her guardian home this week, as Angel has weaned and officially transitioned to eating her food and drinking her water! She will still have some puppy play dates ahead of her and will be seeing mommy on those dates! This week we will begin introducing crate-training, since she is no longer snacking with mommy and is on a schedule with her meals. Last Sunday, January 22nd, was a big day for Jersey & Wilbur as they welcomed their brand new family of six ...four boys and two girls.  

Jersey Girl is a first time mama that is taking to motherhood so well. Her little ones are getting more plump and cuter every day. She is recovering well from her delivery and we couldn't be more proud of her and her puppies!
