Such beautiful six week old girly's. Next week is Avidog testing time and then it's Allocations, a very exciting time for the families who are waiting patiently for their new puppy. These puppies are enjoying the "great" outdoors and all the "great" puppy visitors. Each day is new and exciting, not only for Cleo's puppies, but for all of us here at Koocanusa!!
Happy Belated Mothers Day all you mama's out there (four legged and two legged). <3 <3 Ember's puppies are 3 weeks old! They will be introduced to food, water, and litter this week!
Thanks for stopping by the Prairie Doodle virtual puppy milestone train! These puppies have made it halfway home and still have more developmental milestones to leap through before they get there! They are enjoying their new food and litter set up! They have actually gotten a hang of the litter since day one, which makes it a little cleaner for us! =] They are still loving momma's milk, but are able to go longer without her now, and she is enjoying a little self-care time herself outside in the nice weather. The puppies will be able to join her next week to meet the sunshine and the great outdoors. Until then, have a good week!
At four weeks old, these puppies get to enjoy the sunshine, dandelions, and green grass for the first time! They were a tiny bit hesitant at the new feel under their little toes, but soon they were bouncing and rough housing thru the dandelions. Such a joy to watch them enjoy their new experience!

They are pretty sleepy still, but you can see their eyes starting to fully open and they begin to see the world around them! They are doing really well and are still enjoying momma's milk! We are loving them lots and Ember is too!

This week they will transition into a larger pen and be introduced to their 3 square meals of watered down puppy chow, fresh water, and litter! They will not know what in the world to do with those things, but they will learn quickly and begin to need momma Stella a little less!
Cute adorable little love muffins! Three weeks old and loving life. These puppies certainly enjoy eating solids and we have started the whistle recall at each meal time. Lucca loves to cuddle and entertain these little munchkins as they start to really interact with him. Never a dull moment with puppies!!
Sleeping, waddling to and fro, eating solids, teasing siblings, going in puppy litter but missing sometimes, chewing on siblings ears and tails, barking at nothing, and climbing all over mama Cleo...that pretty well wraps up a day in the life of these adorable sisters!!!
Two weeks old and still sleepy!! These little minis are taking their time opening their eyes and love to nap the day away after a yummy fill up of mama milk. Pollyanna is a great mom and right on the job if one of the little fellas lets out a squeak! They are certainly so very sweet and getting sweeter every day.

They will begin their APET temperament testing next week and the next time you will see them, they will be allocated to their forever families! Exciting times for their families!
Stella's puppies finally have their eyes open in time for their two week birthdate! They are chubby little pups wobbling around the pen trying to explore their surroundings, although more likely, they are exploring where their momma's milk is! =] As you know, we have a toddler in the family, and he has decided to name these pup's after his favourite Paw Patrol characters, so please excuse their temporary identifying names for the purpose of puppy pictures!
Cleo's three week old puppies pass a big milestone today...they move into the kitchen with new sounds, more socializing and lots of action! They are going to be introduced to puppy litter and hopefully will figure out that it is to be used, not played with!! Also softened puppy food will be added to the menu. Lots of great changes for these adorable 3 sisters.
Pollyanna's one week old puppies are definitely little minis...so tiny & sweet! Their colours and markings are totally awesome and will show more as they grow. We look forward to next week when their little peepers will be open to a whole new world around them. Life is always exciting with puppies....
Thanks for stopping by to see Flaherty's puppies reach their five week old milestone! They are doing great and have really got the hang of the whole eating and litter training thing! They actually got to go outside for the first time today and really enjoyed it. They weren't so sure at first, but they eventually loved it! They will get to play with their avidog play centre this week and will gradually spend more and more time outside, pending the weather! =]
The girls turn two weeks old today and such little plumpers! Their eyes are now open and they are getting from one end of the basket to the other. Mom is still number one in their eyes, but they are getting handled more by us and quite liking it. Thanks for checking out their two week milestones!
